I’m going to list 7 places in Arizona, USA that I think are worth checking out.
1: Sky Island Expeditions
Sky Island Expeditions is located near Flagstaff, Arizona, and offers a variety of activities such as horseback riding, rafting, and zip lining. They also offer guided tours that allow visitors to see some of the area’s best sights, such as the Grand Canyon.
2: The Grand Canyon Railway
The Grand Canyon Railway operates steam trains that take visitors along the canyon rim to the bottom. These trains run on a series of tracks that were constructed in 1901 by the Atchison, Topeka and Santa Fe Railroad.
3: Petrified Forest National Park
Located in northern Arizona, Petrified Forest National Park is home to some of the most interesting rock formations in the country. Visitors can view petrified logs, petrified stumps, and petrified dunes.
4: Pueblo Grande Museum and Archaeological Park
Pueblo Grande Museum and Archaeological Park is located in downtown Tucson, Arizona. The museum houses more than 10,000 Native American artifacts. There are also exhibits about the history of the area, including the Spanish conquest and the Pima tribe.
5: Meteor Crater
Meteor Crater is located just south of Flagstaff, Arizona. This is where a meteor hit the Earth 65 million years ago, creating a massive crater.
